Ranked #1 in North Richland Hills for July 2026

BusinessRate, an independent ranking service, scored home inspection companies in North Richland Hills for July 2026 and placed Buffalo Property Inspections first, with a Benchmark Score of 288 out of 300.

We are genuinely pleased about it. But the number that matters to us is not the ranking. It is the 96 out of 100 we scored on the recency measure, because that one is the hardest to hold onto, and it is the one that says something real about the work our team is doing right now.

Why the Recent Score Is the One We Watch

The scoring breaks into three parts. All-time performance since 2024 carries the most weight. Recent performance over the last 90 days carries the next largest share. The depth of the reviews themselves carries a small remainder. We scored 172 of 180, 96 of 100, and a full 20 of 20 respectively.

Any established company can coast on its all-time number for a while. A long history of good work keeps producing a good lifetime average even after standards start to slip, and by the time the average moves, the slip is a year old. The 90-day window does not allow that. It reflects the inspections we performed this spring and summer, in this heat, on this volume.

That is the number we would want to look at if we were the ones hiring an inspector, so it is the number we hold ourselves to.

What Actually Produces a Score Like That

There is no clever trick behind it. It comes down to a handful of unglamorous habits that our inspectors hold to on every single job.

The Credit Belongs to the Team

A score built on review volume and review depth is not something an owner can produce from an office. It is produced in attics and crawlspaces by the people doing the inspections: Ian, Clinton, Brandon, and Troy. When a client writes several paragraphs about how carefully someone explained a foundation concern, that is a specific inspector who took the extra twenty minutes.

It also belongs to the clients and real estate agents who took the time to write those reviews. Detailed reviews are what the quality measure rewards, and they are the ones that genuinely help the next buyer decide. We do not take that time for granted.

An Honest Note on What This Is

We would rather describe this accurately than oversell it. This is a monthly ranking for North Richland Hills, not a metroplex-wide or statewide award, and it is one third party's scoring model rather than an industry standard. It is a useful signal, not a substitute for checking an inspector out yourself.

So do check. Look up any Texas inspector's license on the TREC website. Read their most recent reviews rather than their best ones. Ask to see a sample report before you book, and ask whether the inspector will walk the property with you at the end.

We are comfortable being judged on those questions, which is the real reason a ranking like this one is worth mentioning at all.
